Description

Navigators and General has been established since 1921, insuring Pleasurecraft and Commercial Marine for over 90 years. A combination of experienced underwriters and dedicated claims handlers, who are also boating enthusiasts, ensures we put your customers at the heart of our business.

We understand that offering the right insurance for customers is about more than comparing premiums and cover; its also about choosing a company that appreciates their specialists needs. At Navigators and General we have years of experience providing protection to our customers, to ensure their peace of mind on the water.

As part of our commitment we provide access to dedicated UK claims handlers with claims authority for faster repair authorisation and decision making for our customers, a flexible underwriting approach with empowered underwriters and plain English policy wording that maximises transparency.

Navigators and General provides insurance for all types of Pleasurecraft and can provide quotes and cover for small craft, dinghies, motor boats, sailing boats, narrow boats and inland boats. For boats that are valued between £1 million and £10 million, there is our enhanced Prestige Policy.

Navigators & General also offers a Marine Combined insurance policy for UK marine trade businesses such as marinas, boat sales, hire fleets, boat builders and boat yards.
