Exhibiting On Stand / Berth Nos
Torqeedo, market leader in the fast growing electric outboard motor industry, will unveil its UK debut of its brand new line of innovative electric motors at the London Boat Show 2016, on stand G047.
In recognition of ten years since Torqeedo was established, the innovative firm will unveil a new collection of electric engines, showcasing innovative design.
The first is the new Deep Blue Saildrive – a development of the award-winning 40 and 80HP motors. Offering 25kW power output, the Deep Blue Saildrive offers displacements hulls weighing up to 50 tonnes, the opportunity to achieve maximum speeds of 18+ km/h, propulsive power of 16.2kW and is comparable with a 40HP petrol motor.
Most suited for use in rugged environments and more extreme conditions, the Cruise family has a new addition – the Cruise 10.0, in RS, RL and RXL models. Suitable for planing and displacement hulls, its 10kW power ensures planing boats can achieve speeds of 35km/h and 15km/h for displacement hulls weighing between 3-10 tonnes. Its comparable petrol engine is 20HP.
Finally, one of Torqeedo’s most popular models – the Cruise 2.0, returns to the collection with new POD drives in 2.0 FP, 4.0 FP and 10.0 FP models. A fixed flange motor, the new Cruise modes have a folding propeller and offer a propulsion power of 1.12kW. 2.24kW and 6.6kW respectively. The new Cruise motors are suitable for use with displacement hulls.
