Cosworth’s lush opinion at The
London international boat show 2009
Cosworth
Electronics has been joined by star Sailor, Annie Lush, at London’s
International Boat Show 2009.
The 28 year-old sailing International, from
Poole in Dorset, will be on the Cosworth Electronics stand (N27C)
for the duration of the Show.
Professional Sailor and expert coach to some
of the biggest names in the sport, Annie has been asked by Cosworth
to provide a racers perspective on the company’s range of
performance sailing systems, in particular the release of the Pi
Garda.
Lush has an impressive sailing pedigree.
She is currently ISAF Woman’s Match World Champion and is also two
times winner of the Rolex Cup: International Woman’s Keelboat
Championships. Annie started sailing as a child but became heavily
involved in rowing with Cambridge University, receiving a Woman’s
Blue for in 2001 for winning the Woman’s Boat Race. She hit a
‘rowing versus sailing’ crossroad during her last year at
Cambridge, choosing sailing believing she was too small for rowing
and wanted the greater intellectual challenge of sailing.
Annie has never looked back and continues to
partner Olympic yachtswoman and gold medallist, Shirley Robertson,
in their campaign for World domination and carries on match racing
with Skipper, Sally Barkow form the USA.
