Sunseeker set to dazzle at the London International Boat Show
2009
For the 37th consecutive year, Sunseeker
International will be exhibiting an impressive array of motoryachts
at the 2009 London International Boat Show. Taking place at ExCeL
from 9-18 January, Sunseeker’s display of luxurious yachts will
include three new world debut appearances.
Having launched four new models in 2008,
including the highly desirable 86 Yacht and the Predator 92 Sport,
Sunseeker will be unveiling two new high-performance Predator
motoryachts on stand S25 and a stunning 30 Metre Yacht on the
water, berth no D72.
Robert Braithwaite CBE, Sunseeker managing
director, said: “We are constantly designing and building new boats
to match the expectations of our customers. The majority of our
range will be on display at London Boat Show, and the official
launch of the 30 Metre Yacht demonstrates our commitment to build
larger yachts which still retain exceptional craftsmanship, style
and elegance – as well as outstanding performance.”
Predator 74 Sport (stand
S25)
The new Predator 74 Sport allows for
flexibility to meet the requirements of either owner-operator or
crewed operation. With a choice of layout configurations and
accommodation for up to eight guests and two crew, this performance
motoryacht includes the latest design technologies and building
techniques. The large aft garage comes as standard, providing space
for a tender, jet-ski or even a bespoke purpose-built dive
facility.
The optional sports flybridge with dual helm
and controls provides the perfect platform to experience
outstanding performance and handling capabilities. There is a
choice of power options up to 3144 PS driving twin FP props in
tunnels to deliver speeds up to 38 knots and a cruising range of
380 nautical miles.
30 Metre Yacht (berth numbers
D70-D74)
Offering a pleasing blend of dynamic styling
and leading-edge technology, the 30 Metre Yacht continues the theme
of larger Sunseeker yachts. Providing flexible accommodation – up
to ten guests and crew quarters for four – this luxurious yacht
combines state-of-the-art navigation equipment, making it ideal for
blue water cruising.
Delivering speeds of up to 28 knots and a
range at a slow cruising speed of 10 to 12 knots up to 1000
nautical miles with extended fuel capacity, the onboard luxury and
entertainment is as you would expect from Sunseeker. The flybridge
helm provides superb dual control exhilaration as well as practical
docking, and the large deck expanse is home to seating areas,
dining tables, sunpad and the option of specifying a spa tub.
Predator 64 (stand S25)
Highlighting the development of notable
refinements to styling and enhanced accommodation, the new Predator
64 combines stunning looks with outstanding performance and
comfort. A spacious aft cockpit with sunlounger, large seating area
around an adjustable dining table, and wetbar leads through
patio-style doors to a covered main saloon area. With a flatscreen
TV including DVD/CD hi-fi surround sound, the Predator 64 offers a
comfortable and relaxed environment. The full-width automatic
glazed sunroof slides back over a three-seat helm station with
steps down to the accommodation deck. Here there is a lower saloon
area, fully equipped galley, a master stateroom with en suite, a
forward stateroom with en suite and a twin bunk cabin.
The Predator 64 is available with a number of
twin engine options up to 2200hp in total providing a maximum speed
up to 37 knots.
Predator 92 Sport (stand number
S25)
Launched at Southampton Boat Show by triple
Olympic gold and silver medallist Ben Ainslie, the Predator 92
Sport features a sleek flybridge as standard which has been
incorporated without breaking the series’ distinctive styling. The
result is outstanding both in terms of design achievement and
extending enjoyment for helm and guests. Twin FP props in semi
tunnels provide a top speed up to 40 knots. Depending on engine
option, cruising at 23 knots can deliver up to 450 nautical
miles.
A further 11 Sunseeker craft will be displayed
at the show ranging from the 37 Metre Yacht and Predator 84
through to the Manhattan 60, Predator 52, Manhattan 52, Portofino
53 and Superhawk 43.
